Photography

I have had an interest in photography from a young age and got a DSLR camera when I was a teen. My favorite types of photography to shoot are nature landscape photography and also architectural photography. I do enjoy shooting people and portraits as well. Below I have showcased a variety of my photography work. While everything below has been shot digitally, I do also enjoy using my dad’s old film SLR from time to time.

ITaly

In the spring of 2015, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy for 4 months. I was fortunate enough to be able to shoot photos of all of the different cultures, landscapes, and architecture across Europe. Here, I present several shots from my host country from those 4 months. Cities pictured: Florence, Rome, Cinque Terre, Milan, Venice, Pisa, and Sienna

Europe

While studying abroad in Italy, I had the opportunity to travel to 6 different countries and shoot photos of all of the different cultures across Europe as well. Here I showcase some photos from those travels. Cities visited: Amsterdam, Netherlands; Prague, Czech Republic; London, England; Paris, France; Barcelona, Spain; and Split, Croatia.

Colorado

I have had the opportunity to visit Colorado twice in the last 5 years. In March of 2018, I traveled Colorado for an extended weekend and spent the majority of my time in downtown Denver. I also had the opportunity to go snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National park which was breathtaking. In April of 2021, I was able to spend 2 full weeks just outside of Denver and to explore other cities, towns, and more of the Rocky Mountains. The pictures I have featured here are of the unique architecture in Downtown Denver and the artwork of the RiNo Art district in the city and photos from our snowshoe hike in the Rockies in 2018. I also featured photos from Garden of the Gods, driving to Breckenridge, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and visiting Red Rocks Amphitheater in 2021.

Fran Grad Pictures

While I enjoy shooting nature and architecture photos, I also enjoy photoshoots and portraits as well. Here I document a good friend Fran’s graduation day in 2019 with some photos of her around Quinnipiac University in spots that were important to her. Having unique and personal photos like these are such a special keepsake to have for years to come.

California

In May of 2019, I made my first trip out to California to 2 places that have been on my travel bucket list for years, Napa Valley and San Francisco. Here, I highlight some of the photos I took of the views, architecture, and artistry while out west on this trip.

maine

In September of 2019, I made the move to Maine from Boston and have spent a lot of my time photographing the beautiful nature the state has to offer. Acadia National Park has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I visited Acadia for the first time in early fall of 2018 and returned in late fall of 2020 for more hiking and photography. I have featured photos here from Portland, the Midcoast, Acadia, Sunday River, and Millinocket/Baxter State Park.
